Kevin Sharpe Gospel Group

TMO Entertainment Proudly Presents, Kevin Sharpe Gospel Group...

The Kevin Sharpe Gospel Group is a dynamic, high energy modern Gospel ensemble with their own unique flavor. The small choir and band explore a variety of musical territory from "straight ahead" jazz, funk, smooth, rock, and even odd metered esoteric experiments but often with a nod to their roots in traditional gospel. KSG, recipients of the New England Urban Music Award for Contemporary Gospel is lead by vocalist/multi instrumentalist Kevin Sharpe.

Kevin began his musical career singing in his church choir at age 7. By age 11 he was playing drums for that choir and eventually became one of the primary drummers in the Church of God in Christ in the region. Later in college he studied classical percussion, arranging, voice, and choral conducting. After spending years honing his smooth baritone sound (that's often compared to Barry White and Larry Graham) in the vocal Gospel trio FELLOWSHIP, Kevin was lead to branch out on his own.

The goal of The Kevin Sharpe Gospel Group is to reach the masses with quality music that can touch lives and exalts the name of Jesus.

Glenn Jones Gospel Group

TMO Entertainment Proudly Presents, Glenn Jones Gospel Group...

No stranger to pen and paper, JONES was nominated for a Grammy in (2003) and has received the Stella award for his crafty lyrics, superior vocals and for lending his production talents to the gospel quartet, Canton Spirituals (Verity Records), garnering favorites including “Never Let Go” and “They Need to Belong.” In conjunction with his writing, producing and recording schedule, JONES has spent time on the road gigging and most recently, added acting to his repertoire. Between album projects, he joined the casts of both “The Devil Made Me Do It” and “When a Woman's Fed Up,” touring across the nation for nearly two years. “We performed eight shows a week and I gradually saw my skills improving,” he notes. “Learning to act has been great training for me as a performer.”  Recently Jones has had the opportunity to display both his talents and his patriotism.  From March 4 – 16, 2011, Jones toured Iraq and Kuwait performing for the troops who fight every day to protect our freedoms.  Jones is excited about a project he just finished with John P. Kee.  “Designed to reach a wide group of people” is how Jones describes his music.  He sometimes observes the people at his shows; they range from 30 – 60 and Jones knows they are there because he is true to what he has established; a meaningful lyric, great melody and a very soulful and sincere sound.

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, JONES fondly recalls, “Since the age of 4 or 5, I've always loved music.” Reared in the Pentecostal church, he often found himself risking punishment just to sneak a listen to the secular sounds of Stevie, Bobby, Marvin and Donny, in particular. Heavily influenced by the sounds of the time, JONES formed his first group, “The Modulations,” at the age of fourteen and was later discovered by the late, great gospel legend, Reverend James Cleveland. Although he initially made his mark in the gospel arena, JONES' voice caught the ear of acclaimed musician, Norman Connors, with whom he toured and ultimately began performing R&B music.  Having officially made the transition from gospel to R&B, JONES joined the roster at RCA Records.  Four years later, he signed with Jive Records and enjoyed success with his self-titled album, which spawned the hit singles, “We've Only Just Begun (The Romance Is Not Over)” and “Stay,” respectively. His move to Atlantic Records produced contemporary up tempo hits “Here I Go Again” and “I've Been Searching (Nobody Like You).” During 1998, JONES signed with SAR for the independent release of “It's Time,” which sold nearly 200,000 copies, via a combination of internet, event and retail sales. In addition, the album included the hit single “Baby Come Home,” a Top 5 R&B single that was one of the Top Ten Most Played Records for 2000, according to Billboard Monitor. Jones was overwhelmed by the success of his last project and feels blessed to have an underground fan base that has sustained his career for two decades.

Marketing, imaging and sleek packaging aside, GLENN JONES clearly understands the dynamics of creating a solid vocal performance and has consistently delivered.  “I’ve been in the game for over 30 years, and I am blessed to still be doing my thing. i owe it all to the creator.  My mother told me two things that I’ll never forget, and that is, my talent would make room for me, and that my life is in god’s hands, and I believe that.”

Pastor David Wright

TMO Entertainment Proudly Presents, Pastor David Wright...

Pastor John David Wright was born July 14, 1978, the third of five sons to bless the union of Gospel legend Rev. Timothy Wright and Evangelist Betty Wright.

In early 1995, this sixteen year old young man began playing the organ with no classical training or conventional lessons, but instead, purely by the anointing of God after a 3-day shut-in and prayer.  He played, he prayed and God performed.
Since that experience, Pastor David Wright has become an accomplished musician, having worked with the late James Moore, Kim Burrell, Betty Nelson, Ricky Dillard, James Hall, Dorothy Norwood, and many others.  His gift has made room for him, allowing him to travel the world in his young adult years, and even play before an audience that included Pope John Paul II in 2000. By as early as 1997, Davey, as he is affectionately known, had played on his first live recording: Rev. Timothy Wright and the B.J. Mass Choir’s Been There Done That.  He has been featured on more than a dozen gospel albums as both musician and producer, the latter of which has led to six Stellar Awards nominations for New York Fellowship’s Live In New York (2003), Let’s Celebrate (2004), and the Grammy nominated Jesus, Jesus, Jesus (2007).
Continuing his father’s legacy, Pastor Wright stepped into the role of recording artist, and with his four brothers, Danny, Donny, Derrick and Dwayne, formed The DW Project in December 2004.  Though initially an instrumental band, when the brothers decided to add vocals to their authentic sound, the response was tremendous. The DW Project released its first self-titled CD in 2008, a youthful, soulful mix of contemporary gospel music with a clear foundation in the traditional sound for which the late Rev. Timothy Wright is known.  Pastor David Wright served as the primary songwriter for the group. His songwriting style that mixes Praise & Worship with Traditional Gospel, most notably on songs We Serve A Mighty God, He Saved My Soul, He Was There, and Heaven, has inspired, encouraged, shifted atmospheres, and stirred up worship in every setting the group has ministered.
Pastor Wright has seen to fruition a dream of his father’s: Godfather Records. This growing gospel music record label was envisioned by The Godfather of Gospel, Rev. Timothy Wright, to be a home for artists who would focus on the ministry of the music and not its popularity, the anointing and not just the artistry.  Godfather Records recently released Pastor David Wright and the New York Fellowship Mass Choir - The Next Generation, a double volume project that is sure to follow and possibly surpass the success of the precedent Rev. Timothy Wright set twenty years ago with Come Thou Almighty King:  Pastor David Wright again brings together some of the best of New York’s gospel artists with a choir of over 150 voices, anointed musicians and talented writers, and features Gospel greats Pastor John P. Kee, Bishop Bruce Parham, Professor Butch Heyward, anointed powerhouses Chrystal Rucker, Tiffany Andrews-Woodside, Monique Walker, and more. The first single from volume 2 of this release, entitled Clap Your Hands, has climbed to the Top 20 on Billboard’s gospel chart.  There’s been a buzz about this offering of the New York Fellowship Mass Choir reminiscent of that first experience in 1993.  Pastor Wright revives and remakes old classics and proposes new classics for the next generation of Gospel music listeners to enjoy.
On September 15, 2001, David Wright married the former Geneatha Daughtry of Boynton Beach, Florida, and together they are raising their children, Rocky, Jasmine, and Jai to walk in fear and admonition of the Lord.
David Wright was ordained Pastor of Grace Tabernacle Christian Center Church of God in Christ in Brooklyn, NY on May 13, 2009.  It is here where his late parents were both founders and co-pastor, that Pastor David Wright now imparts his gifts in the preachment, Bible teaching and musical capacities.  As an anointed speaker, he instructs and uplifts his congregation, preaches the unadulterated word of God from every pulpit in which he stands and behind the cross of Christ, and continues to teach choirs and musician workshops around the country. His ministry is steadily growing to touch lives across the nation and around the world.
